Concur for small business pricing and what SAP Concur costs a small business team

SAP Concur for small business is priced per expense report, not per user. Concur's own pricing page, read on October 7, 2026, lists Base from $7 per report and Plus from $11 per report, both with unlimited users, and Premium at a custom price. Every plan ends in a request for a quote, and Concur says the price can vary based on your monthly commitment. So a 10-person company filing one report per person a month should budget roughly $840 a year on Base and $1,320 on Plus, before whatever the contract adds.

Those are "from" prices, and that matters. Concur does not print a setup fee, a minimum number of reports or a contract length anywhere on the page. You find those out on the sales call. Concur's small business page lists QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and ADP among its integrations, and Base includes only Concur Expense. Plus adds ExpenseIt receipt capture, a user support desk and reporting. Concur Travel booking sits in Premium, the plan with no price at all.

Per-report pricing is genuinely good for one kind of small business. If most of your people file an expense report once a quarter, you pay for four reports a year, not twelve months of a seat. A 10-person company where only three people travel can come in well under any per-seat tool, and Concur is a mature product with an approval engine finance teams already know. We say that plainly in the table below.

The model works against you in the other direction. Concur Expense, like most expense report software, waits for an employee to build and submit a report. At a small company most spend is not a report at all. It is the owner's card, a shared card for software, and supplier invoices that land in an inbox. Somebody still has to match each charge to a receipt, pick the GL account and catch the subscription that is being paid twice. That work is where the hours go, and a per-report price does not cover it.

That is the job Expenditure does. You import each card or bank statement as CSV, OFX or QFX, and upload or forward the receipts and vendor invoices. Every item is read at line level, coded to your QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite chart of accounts and checked against earlier items for duplicates. Overlapping subscriptions and price increases are flagged. On Growth, spend over your threshold is routed to an admin for approval before the month closes. You buy it online by card at $12 per seat a month billed yearly on Starter or $21 on Growth, from three seats, with no sales call and no report meter.

We are just as clear about the limits. Expenditure does not book travel, does not issue cards and never moves or holds money. Reimbursements are paid from your own bank or payroll, as today. If you need travel booking and expense in one contract, Concur Premium or Navan is the answer. If you need card spend, receipts and invoices coded and approved before they reach your books, without a quote, that is what you buy from us.

At a small company, one person usually owns expenses. The question is whether Concur is priced for that person.

Concur rows multiply the published "from" price by 12 reports per person a year; your quote can be higher or lower and depends on the commitment you sign. Expensify Collect is $5 x members x 12. Zoho Standard is $3 x users x 12 billed yearly. Ramp Free is $0 in software, funded by interchange on Ramp cards. Expenditure is seats x $12 or $21 x 12, billed yearly, with a three-seat minimum.

Why it works

Three checks before a small business signs with Concur

Count reports, not people

Concur charges for each report filed. Pull last year's report count before the sales call. A team that files quarterly pays a third of what a team filing monthly pays, and that number decides whether Concur is the cheap option or the expensive one.

Ask for the whole contract

The page shows a starting price and nothing else. Ask for the setup fee, the minimum monthly commitment, the contract length and what happens when you file fewer reports than you committed to. Small companies get caught by the minimum, not the rate.

Find where your hours go

If the slow part of month end is employees building reports, an expense report tool fixes it. If it is matching card charges to receipts and coding them for the books, look for a tool that reads the statement and the receipt together.

What it handles

A receipt in, a categorized line out, the waste flagged

Expenditure reads each receipt, categorizes it, checks it against your policy and rolls it into up-to-date spend, then surfaces the duplicate subscriptions and savings you are leaking.

  • Imports every card and bank statement as CSV, OFX or QFX, on the cards you already have
  • Reads receipts and vendor invoices at line level, uploaded or forwarded by email
  • Codes each expense to your QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite chart of accounts
  • Flags possible duplicates and leaves them out of the books export until you dismiss them
  • Finds overlapping subscriptions, unused tools and price increases
  • Routes spend over your threshold to an admin for approval on Growth
  • Bought online by card from three seats, no quote and no sales call
  • Never moves or holds money, and never sells or trains on your financial data

Why Expenditure

Receipts read, spend categorized, waste flagged

Not manual coding, not a stale spreadsheet. Expenditure reads each receipt, checks your policy, shows up-to-date spend, and flags the savings, all on the cards and banks you already have.

Read and categorized

Snap, forward or drop a receipt. The AI reads the vendor, amount, tax and line items, categorizes it and matches the card, in seconds.

Waste flagged

Duplicate and overlapping subscriptions, unused tools, price creep and out-of-policy spend, surfaced as expenses come in with the potential saving.

Secure and in your control

Bank-grade security, we never move or hold your money, and we never train on your data. Insights, not advice, your finance team decides.

Good questions

Questions about Concur for small business

SAP Concur lists Base from $7 per expense report and Plus from $11 per report, both with unlimited users, and Premium at a custom price. A 10-person business filing one report per person a month pays about $840 a year on Base or $1,320 on Plus at those rates. The final price comes from a quote and depends on your monthly commitment.
It can be, if your expenses arrive as employee reports and few people file often. Per-report pricing with unlimited users is cheap for occasional filers. It suits small businesses less when most spend is card charges and invoices that never become a report, or when you want to buy online without a sales process.
Per report. Concur's Base, Plus and Premium plans all include unlimited users, and Base and Plus are priced from $7 and $11 per report. Concur says the more you commit to in your contract, the less you pay per report, so the rate in your quote depends on your expected volume.
Base includes Concur Expense only. Plus adds ExpenseIt for receipt capture, a user support desk and reporting, at a starting price of $11 per report instead of $7. Premium adds Concur Travel, Intelligence and other products at a custom price. All three plans include unlimited users.
Concur Standard is the less configurable edition of Concur Expense, built to be implemented quickly. SAP Concur's community describes it as having a single approval workflow and a small number of expense policies, while Professional allows custom workflows, forms, audit rules and employee groups. Ask sales which edition your quote includes.
Concur's pricing page does not offer a trial or online checkout. Every plan, including Base, routes to a sales contact or quote request. If you want to start the same day, tools such as Expensify, Zoho Expense and Expenditure can be bought online.
Concur lists QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite among its integrations on its small business page. Ask which connector your plan and edition include, and whether it costs extra, because Concur prints no price for integrations on its pricing page.
It depends on what you need. Expensify Collect at $5 per member and Zoho Expense at $3 to $4 per user are cheaper expense report tools. Ramp is free if you move card spend to Ramp cards. Expenditure suits a team that keeps its own cards and wants statements, receipts and invoices coded, checked and approved before they reach the books.
Not always. For a 10-person team filing one report each a month, Concur Base starts around $840 a year and Expenditure Starter is $1,440. Expenditure costs more when few reports are filed. What it buys is statement import, line-level coding and duplicate checks on all card spend, bought online without a contract negotiation.
No. Expenditure does not book travel, does not issue cards and never moves or holds money. Out-of-pocket receipts are read and coded like any other expense, and you pay the reimbursement from your own bank or payroll as you do today.
