Airwallex expense pricing and cost per user for US teams
Airwallex expense pricing starts at $0. The Explore plan includes up to 10 Spend users, Grow is $12 per user a month plus a platform fee based on team size, with a cap of 250 Spend users, and Accelerate is custom. Those figures come from airwallex.com/us/pricing, read on November 4, 2026. Monthly fees are charged per business legal entity, and the page lists corporate cards with zero international fees and cash rebates of up to 2% on local USD spend, subject to separate terms.

Works with your existing cards
Bank-grade · we never move your money
Three things decide the real cost. The platform fee on Grow has no dollar amount on the pricing page, so you cannot total a Grow bill without asking. Per-transaction fees still apply on every plan: the page lists an FX markup of 0.5% over interbank rates for major currencies and 1% for others, and SWIFT transfers at $15 to $25 each. And Airwallex is a money platform first, so a team that only wants receipts matched and coded still buys into a multi-currency account and card program.
At 10 users Explore costs $0. At 25 users on Grow the seat charge alone is $300 a month, and at 50 users it is $600, before the platform fee. Airwallex fits companies that move money across borders and want cards and payments in one place. It is a weaker fit if your cards already exist and the pain is finance time spent matching receipts, coding lines and exporting to QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite.
That is the gap Expenditure fills. It reads receipts and card statements from the cards and banks you already hold, matches each receipt to its transaction, codes it to your GL and sends a clean export to your ledger. Growth, which adds approvals and the NetSuite export, costs $21 per seat a month billed yearly from three seats, with no platform fee. We never move or hold your money, we are bank-grade secure and we never sell or train on your financial data. This is software and insight, not financial, tax or accounting advice.

Why it works
What to check before you pick Airwallex on price
Ask for the Grow platform fee in writing
The $12 seat price is only part of Grow. Get the platform fee for your team size before you compare it with any per-seat tool.
Price your FX and transfer volume
A 0.5% to 1% FX markup and $15 to $25 per SWIFT transfer matter if you pay overseas suppliers and barely matter if you spend only in USD.
Separate the card program from the receipt work
You can keep the cards you have and still fix matching, coding and export. That is a software cost, not a banking decision.
What it handles
A receipt in, a categorized line out, the waste flagged
Expenditure reads each receipt, categorizes it, checks it against your policy and rolls it into up-to-date spend, then surfaces the duplicate subscriptions and savings you are leaking.
- Reads every receipt and card statement line, including PDFs and photos
- Matches each receipt to the card transaction and flags what is missing
- Codes each expense to your QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite chart of accounts
- Routes expenses for approval on Growth, up to three steps on Scale
- Works with the cards you already have and never moves or holds money

Why Expenditure
Receipts read, spend categorized, waste flagged
Not manual coding, not a stale spreadsheet. Expenditure reads each receipt, checks your policy, shows up-to-date spend, and flags the savings, all on the cards and banks you already have.
Read and categorized
Snap, forward or drop a receipt. The AI reads the vendor, amount, tax and line items, categorizes it and matches the card, in seconds.
Waste flagged
Duplicate and overlapping subscriptions, unused tools, price creep and out-of-policy spend, surfaced as expenses come in with the potential saving.
Secure and in your control
Bank-grade security, we never move or hold your money, and we never train on your data. Insights, not advice, your finance team decides.
