Stampli does not publish a price. Its pricing page offers a quote only, and says that quote covers its integrated payments and credit cards along with unlimited invoice capture, entities and vendors. To judge a Stampli quote you need the published alternatives next to it: BILL at $49 to $89 per user a month plus payment fees, Ramp at $0 plus payment fees, and Tipalti from $99 a month plus per-invoice fees.
That is the useful way to read this page. You probably already have a Stampli demo booked or a proposal in your inbox. Below is what Stampli's own pricing page does and does not tell you, the published prices of the tools a US controller usually benchmarks it against, and a full month of payables priced on each one so you can put the Stampli number in context.
How much does Stampli cost?
Stampli's cost is set per customer by its sales team. The pricing page shows no dollar figure, no per-user rate and no per-invoice rate, and every button leads to "Request a Quote". What the page does list is scope: fully automated invoice capture, entities and locations, and vendors are each marked unlimited, semi-automated two and three way matching is included, full automation by Stampli's Cognitive AI is available, and a dedicated customer success manager, onboarding and team training are included.
The page also sells modules beyond accounts payable: Stampli Procurement, Stampli Direct Pay, Stampli Credit Card and Advanced Vendor Management. Treat each one as a line you need to see priced separately in the proposal. When a vendor says pricing is "as simple as our implementation," the simplest thing you can do is ask for the quote broken out by module, by invoice volume band and by ERP connector, and for the renewal terms in writing.
Does Stampli publish pricing?
No. As of this review, stampli.com/pricing lists features and a quote form but no prices. Several competitor blogs quote annual ranges for Stampli, but none cites a source you can check, so we do not repeat them here. The only reliable Stampli number is the one on your own proposal.

What does a month of payables cost on each?
Take a US company with three AP clerks and six department heads who approve invoices, 400 vendor invoices a month, 350 of them paid by ACH and 50 by mailed check, on QuickBooks Online.
- BILL Team: nine users at $65 is $585 a month, plus $206.50 for 350 ACH payments and $99.50 for 50 checks. That is $891 a month, or about $10,692 a year. Corporate at $89 discounts approver-only users, but BILL does not publish by how much.
- Ramp Free: $0 in software and the same $306 a month in payment fees from an outside bank, about $3,672 a year. Paying from a Ramp checking account waives the eligible fees. Line-item auto-coding and three-way match sit on Plus.
- Tipalti: at least $1,188 a year in platform fees, plus per-invoice and per-payment transaction pricing it does not publish. For 400 invoices a month, that transaction line is the number to get in writing.
- Stampli: whatever the proposal says. Put it against the $3,672 to $10,692 band above, remembering that Stampli's quote is meant to cover payments and cards too.
The spread is wide because the tools charge for different things. BILL charges per person, so a company with many approvers pays most of its bill for people who click approve twice a week. Ramp charges almost nothing for software because it earns on cards and banking. Tipalti and Stampli price on volume and modules, which suits larger AP teams and makes small ones pay for scope they may not use.
Is Stampli cheaper than BILL?
It can be, for teams with many approvers. BILL charges every user, and only its Corporate plan discounts approver-only seats, so nine people on Team cost $7,020 a year in software before a single payment. Stampli does not publish per-user pricing, so the answer lives in your quote. Ask Stampli directly whether approvers count toward the price.
Stampli vs BILL: which is better for AP?
Stampli is built around the invoice: capture, coding, discussion on the invoice itself, PO matching and approval, then payment. BILL is built around the payment network, with more than four million vendors on it, and adds AP features on top. If your pain is invoices stuck in approval and coded wrong, Stampli's approach fits. If your pain is paying many small vendors cheaply, BILL's fee schedule is published and simple to budget. Our Ramp vs Bill.com pricing comparison runs the same payment math for those two.
What are the alternatives to Stampli?
The alternatives split by what you actually want from Stampli. If you want payments, BILL, Ramp Bill Pay, Tipalti and QuickBooks bill pay all publish prices. If you want procurement with POs and three-way matching, Stampli, Ramp Plus and BILL Corporate with the procurement add-on compete, and that is not something Expenditure does. If you want invoices read at line level, coded to the right GL account and routed for approval before they reach your ledger, with payment staying at your own bank, that is exactly the job we built AI invoice coding software for.
Vendor management is the other module worth pricing on its own. Stampli's Advanced Vendor Management covers onboarding, a vendor portal and document compliance. If the vendor document your team chases most is a subcontractor's insurance certificate, a dedicated certificate of insurance tracking tool that sends renewal requests before coverage lapses usually costs less than an AP suite module.
Who should buy Stampli, and who should not
Buy Stampli if you run a multi-entity AP team on an ERP such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics or SAP, process hundreds or thousands of invoices a month, need PO matching and want one vendor for capture, approval and payment with a named success manager. Its unlimited entities and vendors matter most at that scale.
Look elsewhere if you are a QuickBooks Online company with a few hundred invoices a month and a budget you want to set from a published price list. BILL, Ramp and QuickBooks bill pay will give you a firm number today, and you can read the full BILL.com pricing and fee schedule before you talk to anyone.
Buy Expenditure if payment is not your problem but coding and approval are: invoices and receipts read line by line, coded to your chart of accounts, checked against policy, approved and synced to QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite, while you keep paying vendors from the bank and cards you already use. Three Growth seats cost $1,260 a year. We never move or hold your money, and we never sell or train on your financial data. We also flag duplicate subscriptions, unused seats and vendor price increases, which is where most of the savings in a payables review come from.
Questions to ask before you sign a Stampli quote
- Is the price per user, per invoice band, per entity or a flat platform fee, and do approvers count?
- Which modules are in the quote: Procurement, Direct Pay, Credit Card, Advanced Vendor Management?
- Is there a separate charge for our ERP connector, and does it change if we move ERPs?
- What happens to the price if invoice volume grows 30% next year?
- What is the renewal cap, and what does it cost to export our invoice history if we leave?
Get those five answers in writing and you can compare Stampli against the published prices above on equal terms. It is the same checklist we would use on any AP or expense vendor, including us.
