Which Melio plan to buy depends on two numbers: how many people use the account and how many ACH payments you send a month. Melio Go is $0 for one user with 5 free ACH payments. Core is $25 a month ($20 billed annually) with 20 free, Boost is $55 ($44) with 50, and Unlimited is $80 ($64) with unlimited ACH and unlimited users. Past about 44 ACH payments with five users, Unlimited is the cheapest plan. Boost almost never pays for itself on payment fees alone.
These prices come from melio.com/pricing, read on October 29, 2026. Melio charges $0.50 for each ACH payment after your allowance, $1.50 for a mailed check and 2.9% when you pay a vendor by card, and every plan except Unlimited includes one user and bills $10 a month ($8 annual) for each extra. The side-by-side with BILL is on our Melio vs Bill.com pricing page. This article only answers which Melio tier to pick.
Melio plans compared
| Plan | Monthly price | Billed annually | Free ACH a month | Users included | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Go | $0 | $0 | 5 | 1 | Card payments, invoicing, up to 10 QuickBooks or Xero syncs |
| Core | $25 | $20 | 20 | 1, extra $10 ($8) | Unlimited QuickBooks Online and Xero sync, approval workflows, batch payments, W-9 and 1099 tools |
| Boost | $55 | $44 | 50 | 1, extra $10 ($8) | QuickBooks Desktop, approval routing by vendor, amount or user, class and location tracking, priority support |
| Unlimited | $80 | $64 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Everything above, with no seat or ACH meter, and the NetSuite integration |
When Melio Go is enough
Go is enough when one person pays fewer than about ten bills a month and your bookkeeper is fine importing the data. The free ACH allowance is 5, and each extra ACH payment is $0.50, so ten ACH payments cost $2.50. What you give up is the sync: Go stops at 10 QuickBooks or Xero syncs, so a business that pays 30 vendors a month will hit the cap in the first week.
Core vs Boost: why Boost rarely pays for itself
Boost costs $24 a month more than Core when billed annually and gives you 30 more free ACH payments. At $0.50 each, those 30 payments are worth $15. Boost loses on payment fees at any volume. Buy it for the features, not the allowance: QuickBooks Desktop sync, approval rules that route by vendor, amount or user, and class or location tracking. If you are on QuickBooks Online and approve everything yourself, Core is the right plan.
Core vs Unlimited: the break-even by team size
Unlimited is $64 a month billed annually and removes both meters. Core is $20 plus $8 for each extra user, plus $0.50 per ACH over 20. Set the two equal and the break-even depends on seats:
| AP users | Core annual before payments | ACH payments a month where Unlimited wins |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $20 | Above 108 |
| 3 | $36 | Above 76 |
| 5 | $52 | Above 44 |
| 8 | $76 | Always, Core already costs more |
Count approvers as users. The owner who clicks approve once a week is a $8 line on Core, and four of them are a $32 line that pushes you toward Unlimited. If you also send many mailed checks, nothing changes: the check fee is $1.50 on every plan.
Does Melio Unlimited include NetSuite?
Yes. NetSuite is the one ledger that Melio puts only on Unlimited. A NetSuite company with ten AP users pays $64 a month billed annually, against $120 or more for ten Ramp Plus users before the platform fee. BILL lists NetSuite sync only on its custom-priced Enterprise plan, which is why NetSuite companies often land on Melio Unlimited or request a Tipalti quote.
Is the annual plan worth it?
Annual billing takes 20% off the monthly price on every paid tier and cuts the extra-user charge from $10 to $8. For a three-person Core account that is $45 a month against $36. It also commits you for a year, so start monthly for the first two months if you are still moving vendors over from another tool, then switch.
What Melio does not read for you
Every plan starts at the payment. Someone still opens each supplier invoice, keys or confirms the amount, picks the GL account and class, and waits for an approver. That is the work Expenditure takes off the team: it reads each invoice and receipt at line level, codes it to your QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite chart of accounts, flags a duplicate before it posts and exports a clean bill, while you keep paying from Melio or your bank. Growth, with approvals and the NetSuite export, is $21 per seat a month billed yearly from three seats. We never move or hold your money and never sell or train on your financial data. This is software and insight, not financial, tax or accounting advice.
Once your books are clean, the next job is usually reporting. If your month-end package is still assembled by hand, you can turn a bookkeeping export into board-ready financial statements in a few minutes.
How many Melio ACH payments can I send for free?
Go includes 5 free ACH payments a month, Core 20, Boost 50 and Unlimited has no limit. After the allowance each ACH payment is $0.50. Unused free payments do not roll over, so size the plan to your normal month rather than your busiest one.
Do card payments change which plan I need?
Not much. Paying a vendor by credit card costs 2.9% on every plan, so the plan allowance does not offset it. A company that routes most bills through a card to earn rewards or stretch cash pays that 2.9% whether it is on Go or Unlimited, and a $10,000 card payment costs $290. Run those bills by ACH when the vendor will take it, and keep the card for the vendors that only accept cards.
